Using NASA’s Earth Observation’s website (NEO for short), I was able to find the data for the average temperature of the top 1 millimeter of ground during the day in December, 2001. This data is used in a wide array of climate, ecology, and biogeochemical studies. Any anomalies seen can be used to predict water and/or energy demand changes in many areas of the world.
